My trip to Allahabad, India for Roop Shree & Pratyush's wedding.
The largest gathering of humanity on earth with over a 100 million visitors, held once every 12 years.
Freezing rain and frigid temperatures in Toronto made for dangerous roads, downed power lines, fallen trees, damaged houses and power outages. However, mother nature did leave behind something incredibly beautiful. Happy Holidays!

My good friend Pratyush invited us to his wedding in his hometown of Allahabad, India on February 14th, 2013. We were amazed at the incredible hospitality that he and his family showed us. For all of us attending it would be the first time that we had ever been to India. We didn’t really know what to expect, but in the end we all fell in love with the country. We hope to be back soon to explore more of India.
Congratulations guys! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day. We will never forget it!
On the 15th of February, 2013 we were privileged to be able to witness Maha Kumbh Mela; a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river. When we first heard about Kumbh, we all knew that we wanted to attend. Originally none of us had intended to go into the water, but one by one we were convinced and we were all glad that we changed out minds. Special thanks to Pratyush and Pragyana for helping to arrange our visit, and to Sunita and Sunil for taking us on such an incredible journey. We will never forget this experience and hope that we will be able to attend in another 12 years!
